PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Description

EJTN provides eLearning courses as one of the tools to increase the level of knowledge among the European Judiciary. National training institutions provide, as well, this kind of tools, which use is increasing according to the new conceptions of training, hence the need to implement e-tools that fulfill both learners' expectations and trainers' goals.

However, in this domain, many questions are still open ranging from the decision to when to opt for distance learning, which form to choose and which platform to take.

Pursuing the referred strategic objective of the EJTN and intending to answer those that will be the prime challenges of judicial training in the future , this webinar will focus the most important aspects of distance learning as they are covered in the new Handbook on Distance Learning developed by the JTM Working Group, presenting and exchanging experiences and best practices regarding the organization of distance learning courses,  with special emphasis on the current methods of e-learning and relevant e-tools and on the main problems faced by the online learning methodology regarding the learners’ expectations and the learning objectives.
