TRAINING CONTENT AND TARGET AUDIENCE

 

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Descripton:

Judges, prosecutors and court staff will be able to identify and apply the main aspects of the rights of the elderly people.

The one-and-a-half face to face training consists of providing a general overview on the European legal framework as well as the ECHR and CJEU jurisprudence. Expert speakers will focus on aspects such as non-admissible discrimination based on age, work, social security and guaranteeing of access to sources of income by the elderly.

Practitioners will be able to exchange knowledge and best practices among experts and peers across the EU by applying the European legal framework and jurisprudence in practical cases.

 

Target audience: 

Judges, prosecutors and court staff from all EU Member states
