Description:
The EJTN Seminar on EU Public Procurement Law is aimed at providing national judges with good understanding of the key concepts, principles and themes of the EU Public Procurement Law and an update on the case law of the EU Courts. Special attention will be paid to remedies and enforcement and on divergences between rules and procedures at national level.
Participants will be able to deepen their knowledge on EU Public Procurement Law, identify the main legal themes to be considered when deciding a case in this field of law, enabling them to gain an understanding of the complex challenges related to deciding cross-border cases and means of redress at national level.
The seminar will focus on EU public contracts of works, supplies or services Directive 2014/24/EU, Concessions contracts Directive 2014/23/EU, the Utilities Procurement Directive 2014/25/EU and Remedies Directives 89/665/EEC and 92/13/EEC (amended by Directive 2007/66/EC).
The event will provide a forum for the interactive discussion of practical questions and challenges faced by the judges in their day-to-day application of EU Public Procurement rules during the case study workshops and face-to-face presentations implemented by a number of experienced and highly-qualified speakers with diversified profiles.
Target audience:
Primarily- Intermediate Level – although not exclusively – for Administrative Judges/Prosecutors .

All applications must be submitted through the candidates' national EJTN Member Institution.
Participation:
Upon invitation by EJTN, participants register via EJTN On-Line Platform to which they receive access. After the event, reimbursment is processed via EJTN on-line platform.
