PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Description: 

The objective of the course is to analyse whether it is possible to provide ourselves with adequate instruments that allow us to establish under what conditions a hypothesis on facts can be rationally considered to be proven. The analysis shall include a variety of scientific evidence as well as the appropriate modes of reasoning. In particular, DNA testing, examining its limitations and future prospects, together with the errors that can be made in its interpretation, and the impact of statistics and neuroscience on criminal proceedings.

Application procedure: 

All applications must be submitted through the candidates' national EJTN member institution.

Participation:

Upon invitation by EJTN, participants register via EJTN online  platform to which they receive access.
After the event, reimbursement is processed via EJTN online platform.
