TRAINING CONTENT AND TARGET AUDIENCE

 

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Description: 

One-day-and-a-half training based on a ‘learn-by-doing’ methodology. Judges from all EU member States will be involved in a series of practical workshops addressing the crucial role of Judges in upholding the rule of law in practice, working on case scenarios inspired by real facts. The seminar will address the elements of the rule of law, including judicial independence, the grey zones of judicial independence’ as well as the arising tensions between judicial independence, accountability and quality. Participants will be assisted by international and national highlevel experts, from the academia as well as practitioners.

Judges from  all EU member States.
