PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Description: 

The objective of this course is to analyse the situation of people who intervene in the criminal process, either as investigated or as a result ofvictims or witnesses, who  suffer from some intellectual disability that makes them vulnerable and that requires the necessary adoption of specific adequacy measures in respect of attention to this disability, which will allow them to have access to the justice as an essential instrumentof the right to effective judicial protection as well as to a fair trial, proclaimed in Article 6 of the ECHR, and to prevent discrimination.

Open to judges and prosecutors

 

 

 

 

Application procedure: 

All applications must be submitted through the candidates' national EJTN member institution.

Participation:

Upon invitation by EJTN, participants register via EJTN online  platform to which they receive access.
After the event, reimbursement is processed via EJTN online platform.
