Description:
The goal of this new seminar under the offer of the EJTN Administrative Law Portfolio is to provide participants with knowledge and insight in the relation between the various levels of International and European Migration Law. Participants will devote their time to get introduced to the analysis of practical cases covering different topics concerning EU Policy and Legislation on legal migration.
A special focus will be given on the topics of admission of immigrants for labour migration; the rights of EU workers and citizens of third-country nationals in the EU, and their integration in European societies. Family reunification issues as well as the methodological aspects of the Use of Article 24(2) of the Charter (best interests of a child) in Relation to Different EU Directives and Regulations will be covered as well.
Participants will be also introduced to practical cases concerning the decisions of the European Court of Human Rights and the European Union Court of Justice on immigration.
This training seeks to operate as a platform for the exchange of knowledge and best practices among colleagues, the creation of judicial cooperation and understanding and the debate of key developments in this field.
