Description:
Day-and-a-half training organised in partnership with and at the premises of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR).
This training will focus on the most recent developments in the court’s case-law, the application procedure before the court and the execution of its judgments. It will be led by current and former ECtHR officials and it will include the attendance of a Grande Chamber hearing, as well as a practical exercise on the use of the HUDOC database.
The training will serve as a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience between judicial trainers and practitioners from across the EU on the application of the European Convention on Human Rights and the most pressing issues concerning the court’s judgments and procedures.
